Skills Involved – Basic Intermediate Crochet
Skill Level – Easy (Level 2)
Size One size 88” X 8” without tassels. (you can reduce the number of Stitches to fit a smaller size and can increase the number of Stitches for a bigger size)

Materials
• Approx. 2 Balls of Ice Aran Cakes (200 gms ball), 2 Balls of Hobby Store Aran Cake Yarn (200 gms ball). You can also use Hobby Store Aran Baby Cakes or Hobby Store Aran Solids or any Weight 4 Yarn.
• Crochet Hook – 4.5mm US Size 7
• Large – Eye Blunt/Tapestry Needle/Wool Needle
• Stitch Marker
• Measuring Tape

Gauge
• Ice Aran Cakes 15 sc X 11 rows with 4.5 mm hook = approx. 4” (10 cm)
• Hobby Store Aran Cakes 18 sc X 20 rows with 4.5 mm hook = approx. 4” (10 cm)

Notes
• When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient.
• The hook called for in the pattern is based on what I have used, but it is not unusual for the gauge to vary from person to person.
• Personally, I am a fair crocheter/knitter but you may check gauge once for exact measurements
• If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make your swatch, try using a smaller size needle; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size needle.
• Stole is worked in one piece from right to left, RS and WS
