The material is a bit cheap for the price. The shape and handle is comfortable but there is a lot of friction between the material and yarn, making it difficult to crochet.

I have used a lot of crochet hooks aluminium ones as well as the rose wood ones for me these Prym crochet hooks are so easy to use they slide easily through your yarn but not too slippery either. They're nice to hold too 👍👍

I'm in love with these hooks. They are very smooth and gliding. Have the shape of Furls crochet hooks without having to spend so much money to purchase them. I haven't tried them for amigurumi projects( I use clover Amour for these). But Prym are superb for general crochet projects.
