I used this to make a purse for my granddaughter. The yarn was easy to work with and didn't knot. The only issue is that it is not soft. I wanted to used it for a baby blanket,
I had used another company's cotton (i had ordered online when I was in the USA) to make a different baby blanket and that yarn was soft and supple.
When i discovered that company wouldn't deliver to India, i went online and everyone said that Magic Needles was the place to go. I loved that you had a variety of cotton yarn and a wide range of colours. But the feel just isn't what I would like for a child's garment.
I've decided to wash the yarn to see if it gets a better "feel".
Otherwise i made a purse that looks really good. I used a variety of stitches and there finishing is wonderful.

We’d like to share a little more insight about the yarn you used. It is mercerised cotton, which undergoes a special treatment to enhance strength, durability, stitch definition, and sheen. This makes it ideal for projects such as purses, bags, home décor, and items where structure and crisp stitches are important. Naturally, mercerised cotton has a firmer feel and is not intended to be very soft.
For a softer and more supple texture, especially suitable for baby blankets and children’s garments, we would recommend Kotton 6 Ply or ArcyCot. These are non-mercerised cotton yarns and are much gentler on the skin, making them comfortable for little ones. They closely resemble the soft cotton yarns commonly used for baby projects internationally and will definitely fit your requirements.
Washing mercerised cotton may soften it slightly, but it won’t significantly change its inherent texture. For future baby projects, choosing Kotton 6 Ply or ArcyCot will give you the softness you’re looking for while still being easy and enjoyable to work with.
