Hobby Store Aran Chenille Cake Yarn is your go-to yarn for all things soft and stylish. Whether you're crocheting adorable amigurumi toys, baby wear, scarves, or lightweight cardigans, this yarn offers the perfect balance of comfort, control, and vibrant color. Crafted with a luxuriously velvety finish, it’s also known as Velvet Yarn, Plush Yarn, Fluffy Yarn, and Velour Yarn – making it a favorite among crafters across India. The smooth, non-shedding texture glides easily on the hook or needles, delivering professional-looking results every time.

Chenille yarn is irresistibly soft and plush, making it a favorite for cozy blankets, plushies, and more. But because of its unique construction, there are a few things you should know - especially if you're new to working with it.
• It's made by twisting short lengths of yarn (called pile) between two core threads.
• The fuzzy pile fibers stick out at right angles, giving chenille its signature velvety look and feel.
• Shedding or pilling is completely normal - those short pile pieces can come loose if pulled.

Pretty good

The quality and colour was amazing dude. This has been a very nice yarn to work with I made a popcorn bag with the yarn. The shedding however is a little annoying but I can work with that cause I'm actually experienced in working with chenille yarn. Overall a very nice experience I'd say definitely go for it.

The yarns are of excellent quality, and I truly loved every one of them—especially the Aran chenille cake yarn in off-white. I’ve made many products with that yarn, and my customers are very happy with the results. I also love all the other yarns I’ve tried so far. I’m excited to try new yarns and will be placing another order very soon. I hope you continue to introduce new yarns, even though you already have such a wonderful and wide collection on your website. My heartfelt thanks to you for providing such amazing-quality yarns.

Chenille yarn

It's really soft and fluffy. I love the texture, but the only problem is that I have to burn the end every time I cut it to avoid pilling. Otherwise, it's great!!!! Especially for Beginners

Thanks so much for your lovely review! We're so glad you’re loving the soft, fluffy texture of the chenille yarn

You're absolutely right—chenille is super cozy, but it has a unique construction that can lead to shedding or pilling, especially when cut or joined. But don’t worry—we’ve got you covered!

🔥 Burning the ends is one way, but there's actually a better and safer technique (no flames needed!) to manage those fuzzy ends and keep your projects looking clean and professional.
