Make a statement with Hobby Store's Super Bulky Chenille Cake Yarn, celebrated as Plush Yarn, Velvet Yarn, or Velour Yarn. This ultra-thick yarn is perfect for oversized blankets, chunky knits, fuzzy amigurumi toys and bold designs. Its fluffy texture guarantees comfort and quick crafting. Designed for easy handling, its ultra-thick, smooth texture and bold velvety colors make it perfect for crafting lasting masterpieces and statement designs.

Chenille yarn is irresistibly soft and plush, making it a favorite for cozy blankets, plushies, and more. But because of its unique construction, there are a few things you should know - especially if you're new to working with it.
• It's made by twisting short lengths of yarn (called pile) between two core threads.
• The fuzzy pile fibers stick out at right angles, giving chenille its signature velvety look and feel.
• Shedding or pilling is completely normal - those short pile pieces can come loose if pulled.

Great quality!

Got it as soon as it launched. Really soft. So easy to work with. Color is just as expected. Would definitely buy again. Made a tote bag 😁

This yarn exceeded my expectations. Will be repurchasing to finish my project.

I was nervous about buying a chenille yarn from an online store without first being able to check it but it has exceeded my expectations! I am making a crochet blanket with a 9mm hook, and I don't find that there is any amount of shedding at all. The only shedding I get is when I cut the yarn. I also have not experienced any worming of the yarn either, despite using knotted joins to join two balls of wool together, AND having unravelled large sections of work and remaking it. My only issue is I wish they sold it in bigger balls because 100g is a very small amount of such a thick yarn and I'll end up needing likely 18 balls for a throw sized blanket
