• Crochet Hook – 4.5 mm US Size 7
• Stitch Marker
• Measuring Tape
Gauge
• 20 chs X 27 rows on 4.5 mm Crochet Hook = approx. 4“(10 cm)
• 22 sts X 30 rows on 4.5 mm crochet hook = approx. 4 “(10 cm)
Notes
• When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient.
• The needle called for in the pattern is based on what I have used, but it is not unusual for the gauge to vary from person to person.
• Personally, I am a fair knitter/crocheter but you may check gauge once for exact measurements
• If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make your swatch, try using a smaller size needle; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size needle.
• Shawl is worked in one piece in joined rows, beginning at the end
• Read the pattern carefully. Work is started at the beginning of WS Row.
Note: The Increase stitches happen at the corners and in the centre - 2 DC V stitch is written in Dark grey and DC V stitch is written in Light Grey Colour
