They are smooth, cool and full of versatility making them suitable for amigurumi toys as well (Amigurumi - Japanese art of knitting or crocheting small stuffed toys). Cotton is also comfortable to wear next to the skin especially for people sensitive to wool or synthetic material.

Slight differences in temperature, dyeing time, and other factors can result in different shades of the same color between different dye lots of otherwise identical production so we would suggest you buy enough yarn of the same dye-lot to complete your project.

For dark-colored cotton yarn, which tends to bleed and lose color in the initial washes, ensure separate washing in cold water, avoiding strong detergent and prolonged soaking.

Delicious colour, everyday favourite yarn

Really happy with this shade, it is very chestnutty, maybe not quite as bright or pink a red as on my screen, but very much maroon. I love kotton 4 ply, a bit splitty but nice and soft, consistent, sturdy, doesn't shed, very versatile. Pictured with other kotton 4 ply shades dark purple and wine in crochet linen stitch.
