They are smooth, cool and full of versatility making them suitable for amigurumi toys as well (Amigurumi - Japanese art of knitting or crocheting small stuffed toys). Cotton is also comfortable to wear next to the skin especially for people sensitive to wool or synthetic material.

Slight differences in temperature, dyeing time, and other factors can result in different shades of the same color between different dye lots of otherwise identical production so we would suggest you buy enough yarn of the same dye-lot to complete your project.

For dark-colored cotton yarn, which tends to bleed and lose color in the initial washes, ensure separate washing in cold water, avoiding strong detergent and prolonged soaking.

Most versatile yarn

It may look a bit stringy in the cake (I love that it comes in a cake - so easy to work with) but this yarn works up into a gorgeously, smooth, soft, luxurious fabric. The project possibilities for this are endless especially given the wonderful range of colours. This colour takes me back to the dresses and coats my mum sewed for me as a child <3
